Job Summary:

HRLife is seeking an experienced ER Specialist to join our team as an Employee Relations Expert. As an ER Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on employee relations matters, including employment legislation, policy, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations Advice: Provide expert advice to managers on complex employee relations cases, including a range of issues such as disciplinary procedures, grievances, and employment tribunals.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, manage, resolve, and mitigate risk in employee relations matters.
  • Case Management: Support employees through the early conciliation process and employment tribunal, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted.
  • Training and Development: Create and deliver face-to-face and virtual training sessions on HR-related matters, including investigations, disciplinary procedures, grievances, appeals, and UK employment legislation.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure that policies and procedures are up-to-date and support best employee relations practice.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience of working in a multi-site or blue-collar environment is essential, as is a track record of dealing with high-volume, complex employee relations cases.
  • Qualifications: Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified.
  • Skills: Highly tenacious and resilient, flexible to change in demands. Confident in taking ownership of issues to resolution in a timely manner. Excellent communicator able to adapt and build rapport/provide advice to all levels. Active listener who is naturally inquisitive and able to coach people to reach a resolution.

Working Arrangements:

HRLife offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days spent in the office in Milton Keynes and 2 days working from home.
