Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group as a Minor Injury Practitioner - Community Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment and treatment in the community setting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist assessment and treatment to patients in the community setting.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients.
  • Provide supervision and training to staff as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Band 6 Practitioner in the community setting.
  • Previous experience of providing specialist assessment and treatment in the community setting.
  • Experience of multidisciplinary team working.
  • Practical experience of facilitating and managing change.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Previous experience of providing supervision and training to staff.
  • Evidence of leadership training or willingness to complete.
  • Broad clinical and multi-agency knowledge.
