Williams Advanced Engineering (WAE) is a leading innovator in the field of electrical systems engineering. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain electrical system designs and architectures for vehicles and components
  • Collaborate with suppliers to deliver high-quality components and systems
  • Assist with the build and fault-finding of projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Generate system architecture diagrams and circuit drawings to support electrical design activity
  • Conduct hazard analysis, risk management, and DFMEA for components and systems as required
  • Define and execute system test and validation activities, both on products and on rigs
  • Support virtual and physical builds for components and vehicles
  • Prepare and present reports for internal and external audiences
  • Represent WAE at technical and project reviews with customers, as required
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and all other departments
Requirements:
  • Recent experience in electrical integration within the automotive or autosport industries
  • Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. HNC, Degree, Degree Apprenticeship, Masters) or equivalent
  • Good understanding of On Vehicle networks
  • Ability to work flexibly to strict deadlines
