Williams Advanced Engineering is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to join our rapidly expanding Electrical Department. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of innovative electrical systems that drive our clients' success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop requirements documentation for vehicle, system, and component-level electrical systems
  • Collaborate with suppliers to deliver high-quality components and systems
  • Assist with the build and fault-finding of projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Design and generate system architecture diagrams and circuit drawings to support electrical design activities
  • Conduct hazard analysis, risk management, and DFMEA for components and systems as required
  • Develop and execute system test and validation activities for products and rigs
  • Support virtual and physical builds for components and vehicles
  • Prepare and present reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent WAE in technical and project reviews with customers, as required
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
Requirements:
  • Recent experience in electrical integration within the automotive or autosport industries
  • Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., HNC, Degree, Degree Apprenticeship, Masters) or equivalent
  • Good understanding of On Vehicle networks
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet strict deadlines
