The ideal candidate will excel in a production-oriented environment, overseeing a team while collaborating closely with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee essential technical operations, serving as the primary technical liaison for clients, retailers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Effectively coordinate and perpetually refine the organization's technical strategy to uphold safety, legality, and compliance standards.
  • Strive to surpass organizational and client expectations regarding compliance, quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Proven technical and quality assurance experience within the food manufacturing sector.
  • Essential knowledge in Food Fraud and Food Defence.
  • Possession of Level 3 Food Safety certification.
  • Possession of Level 3 HACCP certification.
  • A degree in a food science-related field, with comprehensive understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and BRCGS Food Safety standards.

The candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of raw material and packaging specifications, factory technical management, retailer requirements, and experience in hosting food safety audits, BRCGS, QMS, and HACCP.

Additionally, the individual should have a track record of managing change effectively and leading a team.

Other Requirements:

  • Understanding of relevant Health, Safety & Compliance legislation.
  • Knowledge of applicable employment law.

We offer a competitive salary, an annual leave allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays, and standard working hours typically from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
