Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance professional to join our team at SKC Recruitment. The chosen candidate will be based at our client's Newcastle site, with the requirement of commuting to the other site (Luton) for a minimum of one day per week.

Our Quality Assurance department plays a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and that all our departments are working in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are safe, effective, and meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices

• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product quality and safety

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues

• Provide training and support to colleagues on quality-related topics

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. quality assurance, regulatory affairs, science)

• Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field

• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
