Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our client's growing team in Taunton. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a small team and overseeing the production process to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team of production staff to achieve production targets and quality standards
  • Oversee the production process to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste
  • Monitor and control production costs to meet budget targets
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and implement process improvements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role in the food and beverage manufacturing industry
  • Proven track record of managing a team and achieving production targets
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures and industry standards
  • Ability to work flexibly, including early morning starts and overtime during busy periods
  • Forklift license an advantage but not essential
