Production Supervisor

Manucomm Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor / Team Leader to join their growing team in Taunton. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a small team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets and deadlines.
- Monitor and control production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and implement production plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including production staff, quality control, and maintenance teams.
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in a food, drink, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of improving production efficiency and productivity.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work flexibly, including early morning starts and overtime during busy periods.
- Forklift license an advantage, but not essential.
