**Job Title:** Family Assessment Registered Manager
**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and skilled Family Assessment Registered Manager to lead our residential service and ensure the highest possible standards of care and support are delivered to families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the senior professional person within the staff team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
- Ensure that the care and support provided to families is of the highest quality, meeting all their needs and supporting them in achieving their full potential.
- Take the lead in ensuring the safeguarding of vulnerable adults, children, and young people, and that all key stages during a placement are properly managed and recorded.
- Develop, implement, and monitor placement plans, undertaking and reviewing required risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of families.
- Oversee the recording and report writing of staff, ensuring that they are of an acceptable standard and that detailed and accurate records are kept on family files.
- Take a lead role in any assessments that may be required, attending court and giving evidence where necessary.
- Work closely with members of the Therapeutic Team to ensure that families receive the correct and appropriate support, and maintain positive working relationships with social workers, health professionals, and local authorities.
- Promote the health and welfare of families, ensuring all health needs are met, and create a homely and well-maintained environment for residents.
- Produce, coordinate, and edit reports as required, and take the lead in ensuring an open culture is created, whereby residents feel that they can complain and that they are listened to.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults, children, and young people.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide and support staff to deliver high-quality care and support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with families, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential risks and challenges.
