At SCR, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Family Assessment Registered Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for effectively managing the assessment/residential service, including staff, budgets, and resources to ensure the highest possible standards of care and support are delivered and appropriately evidenced.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ofsted Registered Manager: Hold legal responsibility and accountability for the service.
  • Senior Professional Leader: Act as the senior professional person within the staff team.
  • Care and Support Specialist: Ensure that the care and support provided to the family is of the highest quality and that all needs are met, to support the family in achieving their full potential.
  • Risk Assessment Specialist: Take the lead in ensuring that all vulnerable adults, children, and young people are safeguarded.
  • Placement Coordinator: Ensure that key stages during a placement (e.g., admission and discharge) are properly managed and recorded.
  • Record Keeping Manager: Ensure detailed and accurate records are kept on the family files, and that they are distributed to interested parties as appropriate.
  • Therapeutic Team Lead: Work closely with members of the Therapeutic Team to ensure that where necessary, families receive the correct and appropriate support.
  • Family Support Coordinator: Work in close partnership with and maintain positive working relationships with social workers, health professionals, and local authorities.
