About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a specialist physiotherapist for private patients, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients undergoing cardiac surgery and other related procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients requiring physiotherapy interventions, including physical rehabilitation and acute respiratory care.
  • Develop and implement a pre-operative physiotherapy service for patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care for patients.
  • Supervise student physiotherapists and contribute to the development of the physiotherapy service.
  • Participate in clinical governance activities to ensure high standards of patient care.

Person Specification
  • Professional qualification in Physiotherapy.
  • HPC registration as a physiotherapist.
  • Proven postgraduate experience in acute clinical areas.
  • Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Clinical education of students.
