About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team as a Compliance Surveyor for a large housing association. The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills and be knowledgeable in EICR compliance, LGSR, and the Building Safety Act.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing technical expertise as a Compliance Surveyor for asbestos, fire, electrical, and gas compliance
  • Preparing reports on fire suppression works needed
  • Scoping and tendering for works needed
  • Managing works on site and post-inspection check and sign-off final payment
  • Overseeing compliance, repairs, and Cap Ex works to the portfolio of domestic premises
  • Inspecting schemes, liaising with scheme managers
  • Undertaking risk assessment inspections and instructing contractors to carry out rectification of non-compliance
  • Initiating and managing a programme of works and managing works on site, in liaison with scheme staff
  • Attending site with various consultants to sign off works
About You

You will need to be a qualified Building Surveyor or have a relevant trade background and experience as a surveyor. You will be an expert in social housing maintenance and have excellent IT skills.

What We Offer

Weekly pay, holiday pay, and pension if PAYE, or umbrella. This is an inside IR35 role.
