Consultant Psychiatrist - Adult - Single Point of Admission Service

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Neath Port Talbot Hospital. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality mental health services for adults in our community.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult psychiatry and experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, developing and implementing service improvements, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in adult psychiatry
  • Develop and implement service improvements to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care for patients
  • Contribute to the development of our service and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice
  • On Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in General Adult Psychiatry or eligible for CCT within 6 months of date of interview
  • Teaching qualification/Higher qualification in medical education
