**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to support our innovative training scheme for overseas qualified dentists. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a vital role in providing clinical supervision and support to a group of dentists in a general dental practice environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and support to up to 3 overseas qualified dentists in a general dental practice environment.
- Liaise with our clinical team to discuss the progress and abilities of the dentists.
- Attend training or meetings as required to ensure you are up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
- Assess and grade the treatment provided and professionalism of the dentists for the purposes of meeting their clinical requirements.
- Maintain your skills, competencies, and required continued professional development to ensure you are equipped to support the dentists effectively.
- Liaise with the practice manager to ensure the satisfactory integration of dentists into the practice.
- Provide pastoral support to the dental students whilst in the practice and report any issues arising.
Requirements:
- Full GDC registration as a dentist or specialist and an active NHS performer number.
- Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience as a general dentist.
- Previous experience in teaching or mentoring is desirable.
