Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Storage Specialist to join our team at the Green Recruitment Company. As a leading partner in the renewable energy sector, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions to our clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Design and Delivery of Grid-Scale BESS Projects: Utilize your extensive experience and expertise in BESS technology to drive forward our battery energy storage system projects.
  • Contribute to Business Development Activities: Identify opportunities and cultivate relationships within the renewable energy sector to drive business growth.
  • Provide Technical Expertise: Offer guidance on option analysis reports, conceptual and detailed designs, scope of works, cost estimates, cost modeling, and delivery plans for BESS projects.
  • Collaborate with International Teams: Work with global teams to deliver a diverse range of projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Maintain knowledge of relevant standards and regulations for BESS projects, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.
  • Drive Innovation and Optimization: Demonstrate expertise in grid ancillary services and market drivers pertinent to BESS projects.
  • Communicate Effectively: Foster collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Engineering Qualifications: Hold a degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on renewable energy or electrical engineering.
  • Professional Experience: Possess 5+ years of experience in an engineering environment, with significant exposure to BESS design and project delivery.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrate a proven record in grid-scale BESS project delivery, ideally gained within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong Understanding: Possess a strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations governing BESS projects.
  • Knowledge of Industry Dynamics: Demonstrate knowledge of grid ancillary services and market dynamics driving BESS deployments.
  • Business Development Skills: Possess demonstrated business development skills and a network of industry contacts.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Demonstrate the ability to work independently on challenging projects, with a consistent record of successful delivery.
