We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Ampowr. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and identifying new opportunities in the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue expansion in the BESS market.
- Conduct detailed needs assessments with potential clients to understand their energy storage needs and present tailored solutions to secure contracts and projects.
- Negotiate and prepare sales proposals, quotations, and contracts with clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Ensure that agreements are favorable and compliant with regulations and that internal limits and approvals are complied with.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs to ensure revenue growth for the company.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, emerging technologies, competitors, and relevant regulations and policies.
- Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction through the installation and commissioning process.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience in business-driven environments.
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the energy storage or renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of battery technologies and experience working with DNOs or TSOs is a plus.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Growth-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
