Rate: £23.85 per hour (up to £54,568 per annum full time equivalent)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Exemplar Health Care Services Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of nursing and care colleagues, driving quality, and maintaining high standards of care on your unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership to maintain and continuously develop high standards of care and drive continuous improvement
  • Oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks on your unit
  • Ensure care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner and reflect care interventions appropriately
  • Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, with responsibility for the oversight, review, and update of their care profiles
  • Supervise and manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication on your unit

Requirements:

  • First-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN
  • Post-registration and management or supervisory experience and/or training or qualifications
  • A thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care
  • A good standard of digital skills
