About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Paediatric Orthopaedics team at a renowned healthcare facility in London. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive and evidence-based care across the Orthopaedic pathway
  • Act as a patient advocate, providing specialised nursing guidance and emotional support throughout their treatment journey
  • Contribute to service enhancement and staff education initiatives
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in audits and research pertinent to the specialism
  • Develop and maintain expertise in safeguarding processes and clinical governance
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse qualification in Child Nursing (RN Child) or Registered Sick Children's Nurse (RSCN) with valid NMC registration
  • Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in Children's nursing
  • First-degree qualification in nursing or a related healthcare field
  • Relevant qualification in the specialist area with a minimum of 12 months of experience
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support certification
