Occupational Therapist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join the Trauma and Orthopaedic Integrated Therapy Team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The team covers one elective ward and two trauma wards, providing a challenging and rewarding environment for the successful candidate.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver a high standard of Occupational Therapy service in elective and trauma orthopaedics.
- Manage a defined complex caseload under the management of the Team Leader, using evidence-based, client-centred principles to assess, plan, and evaluate Occupational Therapy interventions.
- Ensure the safety of patients in your care, adhering to HCPC, CQC, and Trust clinical and quality standards.
- Supervise and assist in the development of junior Occupational Therapists, non-qualified staff, and students on placement.
- Undertake audit of clinical practice and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
