Lead Engineer - BIW Structures

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join our team at DRVN Automotive Group. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of BIW structures, working closely with our Engineering Analysis team and Manufacturing department to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full design and development of BIW structures, including CAD administration, BOM, DVP, Family Tree, and Release activity.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Analysis team to meet design targets and drive cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to agree feasible manufacturing solutions and control the engineering change process.
  • Communicate with the Head of Engineering to ensure support and help when required.
  • Support Programme team to ensure project deliverables are achieved.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent within a relevant subject.
  • Strong ability to use CAD and understand CAE literacy using Catia V5.
  • High level of engineering design knowledge.
  • Understanding of budget management and organisational skills.
