About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. As a key member of our mental health services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions to individuals experiencing anxiety and depression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments of individuals aged 16+ who are referred to or self-refer to our service.
  • Deliver low-intensity psychological interventions, including individual and group work, in accordance with NICE guidelines.
  • Work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and ages, using a range of suitable and evidence-based interventions.
  • Refer patients to employment advice services to encourage patients into employment or training, where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the education, training, and support of primary care professionals and other relevant agencies in mental health and psychological issues.
Requirements
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Interventions or equivalent Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner qualification.
  • Experience of working with individuals who have experienced mental health problems.
  • Ability to form positive therapeutic relationships with service users and carers while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write clear reports and letters.
  • Car driver or owner.
