About the Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Sense, a national disability charity supporting individuals who are deafblind or have complex disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will work with children and adults who have been born with sight and hearing impairments, providing 1:1 support and promoting personal and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to individuals with complex disabilities, enabling them to access activities and promote independence.
  • Work with individuals to develop their communication skills and access to activities, taking into account their sensory needs and communication preferences.
  • Support individuals with day-to-day activities, personal care, and hygiene, as well as accessing the community for shopping, social activities, or other trips.
