Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems and Test Engineer to join our team at re&m. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing verification and validation strategies for our assigned systems and subsystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Plan Development: Specify and develop test rigs and harnesses as required to support our test plans and specifications.
- Qualification Activities: Lead 3rd party qualification activities, including EMC, Environmental, and safety testing.
- Test Solution Delivery: Deliver test solutions on time and in full, ensuring high-quality results.
- Product Test Specifications: Develop product test specifications that meet our quality standards.
- Test Failure Resolution: Lead the resolution of test failures and drive projects to completion using the 8D process.
- Resource Management: Identify required resources and facilities (internal and external) to deliver test programs.
- Test Documentation: Maintain the test documentation set, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Traceability: Ensure traceability between tests and requirements, maintaining a high level of quality.
- Data Analysis: Demonstrate ability to use appropriate data analysis tools, including some coding competency (Python/C++).
- Customer Support: Engage with customers, typically via Customer Support, to provide support for issues related to product performance or performance envelope.
- Technical Expertise: Answer technical questions and provide technical training on the domain of expertise.
