Rubicon Consulting: A Leading Player in Civil and Structural Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract, based in Birmingham with regular visits to Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the successful delivery of civil and structural engineering projects in the UK, working closely with the Section Manager to assemble a team of experts from across our global offices.
  • Be a technical authority on civil and structural engineering work packages related to electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure, including undertaking the role of Lead Project Engineer on project teams.
  • Produce detailed civil/structural engineering design packages, compliant with client and national technical standards, including civil design and analysis of foundations, structural substation components, steel structures, and other civil structural components.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of civil and structural engineering design experience, with at least 5 years in the electricity transmission & distribution sector.
  • Experience of working in a lead civil/structural engineering design role on National Grid Electricity Transmission projects.
