About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at VolkerWessels UK. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of our civil engineering projects, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage and coordinate the work of civil engineering teams, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of business strategies and proposals, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Manage and control project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in civil engineering, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in civil engineering project management, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
