We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our successful Civil Engineering team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading projects, contributing to the growth of the company, and sharing your expertise with junior members.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to take on a leadership role and drive the success of our projects. You will be working on a variety of projects, including flood risk assessments, SuDS and drainage strategies, and will have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, including clients, architects, contractors, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects and teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the company
  • Share expertise and knowledge with junior members
  • Work on flood risk assessments, SuDS and drainage strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects
Requirements
  • Chartered status or working towards Chartered status (ICE/CIWEM)
  • Strong drainage capability and understanding of drainage design
  • Strong understanding of national planning policy and relevant legislation
  • Experience of river restoration/design
  • Experience of meeting attendance and liaison with clients and stakeholders
