Our client, a well-respected multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm, is on the lookout for a dedicated Lead Civil Engineering Specialist with 3-5 years of relevant UK experience in drainage, highways, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and draft Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), external works, and compliance with Section 38 and Section 104 regulations across various sectors including residential, industrial, and commercial.
  • Engage with clients throughout the UK, ensuring effective communication and project alignment.
  • Utilize software tools such as Microdrainage, InfoDrainage, Civil3D, and AutoCAD for design tasks.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to plan and organize projects, ensuring adherence to design guidelines and deadlines.

The ideal candidate will receive on-the-job training and mentorship to enhance their skills, working closely with the civil engineering team to achieve professional growth and pursue Chartership with the ICE.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of UK experience in civil engineering.
  • Relevant degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng/MSc).
  • Strong understanding of construction industry standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for technical drawings.
  • Experience with Civil 3D, PDS, and InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Analytical and logical problem-solving abilities.
