Exciting Sales Engineer Opportunity

Personnel Selection is proud to be partnering with a dynamic SME Engineering business in Salisbury to recruit a Sales Engineer on a full-time and permanent basis. This role offers a fantastic chance to develop your skills and contribute to the company's growth.

The working hours are 8:30 – 5 Mon to Thur, with a 4pm finish on a Friday. There may be some flexibility to adjust these start/finish times. The company offers 23 days leave + bank holidays and a Pension, as well as excellent training & development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with freight forwarders and handle dispatch paperwork
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies
  • Meet with customers to provide sales advice and handle incoming sales enquiries
  • Visit customer sites to provide technical support and up-sell products
  • Manage depot sales paperwork and attend exhibitions to promote products
  • Process finance paperwork and manage online shop maintenance
  • Proactively sell and chase new orders/customers, and process new customer orders
  • Quote for customer requirements and manage sales invoice paperwork
  • Meet sales targets for spares sales and provide technical support to customers
  • Deliver unit demonstrations and maintain CRM+

We are looking for a graduate with a technical/engineering discipline who is eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment. Alternatively, we welcome applications from individuals with good fundamental engineering knowledge and skills in account management and business development.
