Band 7 Physiotherapist - Cystic Fibrosis/Bronchiectasis

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Atlantis Medical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized airway clearance and exercise plans for patients with Cystic Fibrosis and general respiratory conditions.
  • Provide in-patient support and cover critical care services as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and support.

Main Duties:

  • Service Development: Lead quality initiatives and service improvements to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Line Management: Oversee and educate staff and students, identifying and addressing training needs to ensure high-quality care.
  • Education & Support: Provide guidance to multidisciplinary team members, patients, and carers on respiratory care and management.
  • Patient Management: Motivate patients to adhere to treatment plans and manage complex communication and sensitive situations.
  • Organization & Problem-Solving: Efficiently manage a busy workload and work effectively under pressure to meet the needs of patients and the team.
  • On-Call Duties: Participate in the respiratory on-call and weekend rota, responding promptly to patient needs.

Person Specification:

  • Qualifications: Recognized BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Registration: State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience: Broad postgraduate clinical experience, including rehab and respiratory roles, with significant specialist experience in the relevant field.
