Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Afternoon Shift Supervisor - Team Leader to join our team in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for leading our team to deliver exceptional food quality and guest care and service. You will work closely with our Restaurant Manager to implement brand standards and policies, and to ensure that every guest leaves the restaurant having had a great experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team: You will be responsible for leading our team to deliver exceptional food quality and guest care and service.
  • Implement brand standards: You will work closely with our Restaurant Manager to implement brand standards and policies.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction: You will ensure that every guest leaves the restaurant having had a great experience.
  • Manage stock levels: You will be responsible for managing stock levels and ensuring that we have the right products in the right quantities.
  • Manage controllable costs: You will be responsible for managing controllable costs to keep operations profitable.
  • Train and develop team members: You will be responsible for training and developing our team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge they need to deliver exceptional food quality and guest care and service.

Requirements:

  • Experience: You will have experience in a similar role, preferably in the Casual Dining sector.
  • Leadership skills: You will have strong leadership skills and be able to motivate and inspire your team.
  • Communication skills: You will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with your team and with guests.
  • Problem-solving skills: You will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to think on your feet.
  • Attention to detail: You will have a high level of attention to detail and be able to ensure that every guest leaves the restaurant having had a great experience.
