About the Role

Mekhann is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Assistant to join our team in our Mayfair retail store. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of our store, providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and contributing to the growth and success of our luxury goods brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities, both in-store and online, to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Mekhann's product offerings, including the history, techniques, and cultural significance of our textiles.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Mekhann at trade shows, events, and in-store, embodying the brand's values and ensuring a consistent brand message.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences to effectively position Mekhann's products in the market.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to assist in strategic planning and product development.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and product offerings.
Shop Operations
  • Oversee Store Operations: Ensure the day-to-day management of our Mayfair retail store is executed to the highest standards.
  • Visual Merchandising: Curate and present store displays to showcase our collections in an attractive and engaging manner.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process online orders, including packaging and shipping, to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Client Acquisition: Actively seek and engage new trade and retail clients to drive business growth.
  • Product Shoots: Assist with product shoots to showcase our collections in a professional and visually appealing manner.
  • Marketing Support: Support the creation and distribution of newsletters using our CRM system to engage with customers and promote our brand.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and compile reports on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Self-Motivation: A self-motivated, ambitious individual with a strong drive to excel in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the luxury goods or interiors industry for at least 2-3 years.
  • Customer Service: Confident in handling customer inquiries, both in person and via phone and email, to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Multitasking: Strong multitasking abilities, with high attention to detail, to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business Acumen: A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth and development.
