Job Description

Job Summary: As a Product and Support Engineer at oilandgas, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our advanced engines. You will be the key link between our customers and Field Service Engineers, providing expert support and guidance to resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Provide timely and effective support to customers, resolving issues and ensuring their engines are running efficiently.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of engine systems, including troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engine Systems Design and Integration, Design Engineering, and Leading Indicators, to anticipate and resolve field challenges.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of technical data, ensuring compliance with industry and government regulations.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in services/installed base engineering.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of engine systems, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Advanced Education: Master's degree in related field or PhD degree in related field with experience relevant to indicated position areas of expertise.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others, with a strong understanding of business operations and technical principles.
