Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and evaluating assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute the design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
  2. Develop a basic understanding of key business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish your work. Demonstrate a good understanding of how your work integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  3. Collaborate with various engineering organizations and contribute to the development of engine systems and designs.
  4. Develop in-depth knowledge of the technical discipline.
  5. Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers.
  6. Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
  7. Resolve issues in situations within your current technical knowledge base and judgment within established procedures. Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  8. Be responsible for monitoring and communicating project status to Engineering leadership. Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
  9. Participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  2. Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in a relevant engineering position.

Desired Characteristics

  1. Fundamental understanding of turbomachinery design.
  2. Previous experience in design of Aviation components.
  3. Proficient with Ansys and Unigraphics.
  4. Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
  5. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively within an organization.
  6. Established project management skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  8. Documented experience of being a self-starter with a passion for problem solving and driving solutions.
  9. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  10. Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn.
  11. Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively.
  12. Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed.
