### Job Title: Senior Procurement Category Manager

### Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercial-minded Senior Procurement Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value categories across the organization, with a spend of circa £25m.

### Key Responsibilities

* Provide analysis and reporting of market dynamics and cost drivers for your categories
* Undertake a range of sourcing activities to support the needs of the organization
* Manage complex supplier relationships and own regular commercial meetings to ensure engagement, alignment, and clear communication
* Track, assess, and drive performance improvements, acting as a point for escalations and issues through to resolution
* Identify areas for improvement to continually drive results while minimizing risk
* Interact with the Transactional Procurement Team to support process improvement, spend transparency, and policy compliance
* Implement new systems, processes, and procedures when required with Director of Procurement's guidance and in line with Marston Holdings Group policies and procedures

### Requirements

* A senior-level procurement expert with experience of managing multiple categories of spend
* Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
* Strong knowledge and experience of Procurement Category Management within Indirect Procurement
* Experience of creating end-to-end category plans and negotiating best commercial agreements in line with business requirements
* Strong understanding of contracts and comfortable liaising with legal counsel
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a fast-paced Procurement environment managing Indirect categories
* Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365 a plus)
