Job Title: Application Consultant

About the Role:

As an Application Consultant at WorkForce Software, you will play a critical role in delivering our WorkForce Software (WFS) Suite to customers worldwide. You will work closely with Global Services project teams to ensure that the WFS Suite products meet customer needs and are delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure the WorkForce Software (WFS) Suite according to customer business requirements using JavaScript, HTML, or other scripting tools.
  • Support the confirmation and refinement of business requirements with clients in meetings and client workshops.
  • Understand the WorkForce Software Product configuration requirements.
  • Understand project scope and implementation approach for assigned projects.
  • Continuously improve WorkForce Software Product solution skills by staying updated with the latest enhancements.
  • Handle complex issues including administrative and configuration challenges.
  • Write complex formulas that leverage mathematical and/or programming skills.
  • Perform unit and system testing of the configured application.
  • Help facilitate client workshops either onsite or remotely.
  • Identify and escalate out of scope requirements and delays to the Project Manager or Senior Team members.
  • Provide status updates with Project Managers, customers, and stakeholders on project status.
  • Partner with all WFS internal teams during project phases.
  • Assist customers with software testing along with roll out and go-live activities.
  • Attend training courses and undertake self-learning as required.
  • Track billable and non-billable project hours.
  • Use professional concepts to apply company policies and procedures.
  • Work on project implementation assignments.
  • Help mentor other team members.
  • Understand various project management methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience and demonstrated knowledge of SQL.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience and demonstrated knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, or other scripting tools.
  • Familiarity with business applications, such as Excel or DBMS systems.
  • Knowledgeable of implementation principles and lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management is a bonus.
  • Experience providing application support for complex software systems preferred.
  • Programming experience utilizing Java, C#, C++ or 4GL programming languages.
  • SQL Report creation experience.
