Job Title: Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our team at Greater Manchester Police. As a key member of our Governance, Risk and Compliance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of a robust governance framework to manage risks to our information assets and digital infrastructure.

About the Role:

This exciting and varied role will see you at the forefront of delivering innovative technology within Greater Manchester Police, an organisation that is developing its IT capacity and is a dynamic, fun place to work. You will be responsible for supporting the Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the effective management of information security risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development and implementation of information security policies, procedures, and controls.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks to information assets and digital infrastructure.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and implementation of information security policies and procedures.
  4. Monitor and report on information security incidents and breaches.
  5. Contribute to the development and maintenance of information security awareness programs.
