Job Title: Cyber Security IT Analyst

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is seeking an exceptional Cyber Security IT Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the IT Security team, you will be responsible for protecting GMP's digital infrastructure, sensitive data, and IT systems from unauthorized access, breaches, and other security threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Protect GMP's digital infrastructure and sensitive data from cyber threats
  • Develop and implement effective security measures to prevent breaches and unauthorized access
  • Collaborate with the IT Security Manager to ensure the security of GMP's IT systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies to ensure GMP's systems remain secure
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles and practices
  • Experience in IT security, preferably in a law enforcement or public sector environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
