Job Title: Academic Governance Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Governance Officer to join our Governance and Executive Services team at the University of Nottingham.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative support for the Governance team, working in a fast-paced and professional environment. As a Governance Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining records for centrally supported committees, assisting with the collation and circulation of papers, and providing administrative support for effectiveness reviews.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide administrative support for governance processes, including maintaining records and collating papers.
  2. Assist with the circulation of papers and provide administrative support for effectiveness reviews.
  3. Service a number of committees or working groups, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
Requirements:

We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. You will have some experience of committee servicing, including minute taking, and be able to work flexibly and respond appropriately to changing priorities.
