Job Title: Senior Contract OfficerJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Contract Officer to join our team at Lancashire Wildlife Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our conservation projects and ensuring the effective management of our contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of conservation projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including health and safety, environmental, and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact delivery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective contract management strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in contract management, preferably in a conservation or environmental context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and locations.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including health and safety, environmental, and contractual requirements.
