Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team on a Data Centre project in West London. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety documents and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to site management and assist in the closure of issues.
  • Deliver health and safety inductions to employees and contractors.
  • Advise on personal protective equipment requirements and ensure compliance with Dornan's policies.
  • Manage sub-contractor safety documents and ensure they are relevant and up-to-date.
  • Assist in drafting and communicating method statements for high-risk activities.
  • Support site management in maintaining records of statutory inspections and plant equipment.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and report findings to senior management.
  • Represent Dornan at site meetings and provide guidance on safety procedures.
  • Manage the Toolbox Schedule and attendance records.
  • Compile and communicate site emergency plans.
  • Advise on first aid and fire marshal requirements.
  • Provide training recommendations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all training requirements are met by sub-contractors.
  • Prepare the safety file for handover to the client at the end of the project.
  • Provide regular KPI statistics to senior management.

Requirements

  • A relevant EHS qualification.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar position.
