About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Composite Technician to join our team at Marshall Slingsby Advanced Composites. As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a composite manufacturing environment, working alongside experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production of complex composite structures, including cloth cutting, laminating, infusion, and trimming.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including carbon fibre and glass fibre, to create high-quality composite products.
  • Develop your skills in tool strip and release, assembly, and testing activities.
  • Support the development of new processes and procedures, and contribute to the improvement of existing ones.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the correct materials are selected for tooling, fixtures, and jigs.
Requirements
  • GCSE level 4+ in Maths, Science, and English.
  • Good IT skills and ability to work with a variety of software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
