Payroll Officer

This role is responsible for supporting the daily running of the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:- Process payroll for approximately 250 staff members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
- Collate and finalise information regarding starters, leavers, and salary changes
- Process payroll HR matters and authorise payroll-related payments
- Liaise directly with staff to assist with HR queries related to salaries
- Process monthly timesheets and input additional hours on the payroll system
- Prepare monthly payroll and annual statutory returns, and ensure compliance with audits
- Administer all pension schemes, complete year-end returns, and ensure compliance with audits
- Undertake payroll-related projects and manage system improvements
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll
- Strong attention to detail
