Job Title: Head Pastry Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Pastry Chef to join our team at Swan London. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the Pastry Kitchen and ensuring the delivery of high-quality pastry products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement pastry menus and recipes to meet customer demands and business objectives.
  • Manage the Pastry Kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Oversee the production of pastry products, ensuring quality, presentation, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, health and safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
