Origin Retail Lead - Cambridge

As a Counter Lead at Origin, you will play a crucial role in driving sales turnover and market share through exceptional customer service and a deep understanding of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reflect a credible and professional brand image to all internal and external customers
  • Maximise sales through effective selling, service, and retail standards
  • Contribute to efficiencies by adhering to store and company procedures
  • Understand daily and weekly targets
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor activities and missed opportunities
  • Effectively leverage social media to drive business and protect the brand image
  • Deliver the brand strategy, ensuring a local plan is in place
  • Plan and implement local marketing and events initiatives
  • Deliver excellence in service execution, continually improving service levels
  • Be an ambassador for the brand, representing values and bringing them to life
  • Manage refunds and complaints in line with company guidelines
  • Use digital tools to stay up-to-date with knowledge
  • Develop a consumer recruitment and retention strategy
  • Develop up-to-date knowledge of products to deliver an industry-leading experience

Operations:

  • Plan to deliver excellent standards at all times
  • Review retail standards daily to ensure they meet the required standard
  • Ensure deliveries, stock movements, and administration are completed within agreed timeframes
  • Implement auditable processes and administration according to company guidelines
  • Minimise stock loss by implementing company security policies and procedures
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment for customers

Commerciality:

  • Manage daily replenishment, taking appropriate action when necessary
  • Maximise sales performance by utilising commercial reports
  • Plan and deliver visual merchandising layouts
  • Identify stock package issues and take corrective action
  • Effectively manage promotions and discounts
  • Identify trends and suggest enhancements to product performance

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment
  • Ability to drive self-development
  • Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry
  • Effective communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills
