Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Luton Bennett. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on CNC equipment within a machine shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Breakdown repair, fault finding, and preventative maintenance across all production machinery.
  2. Undertake root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective action to ensure potential future failures are eradicated or mitigated.
  3. Mechanically biased role with a wide variety of mechanical and electrical aspects.

Requirements:

  1. An experienced mechanically biased/Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer from a CNC machine shop environment or equivalent.
  2. Able to read and interpret schematics to formulate repair solutions.
  3. Understanding/awareness of machining/manufacturing principles.
  4. Will hold an apprenticeship or equivalent relevant qualification.
