Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:
Our client, a leading manufacturing site, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking day-to-day reactive maintenance, continuous improvement work, and ensuring the site runs smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Reacting to breakdowns mechanically, fault finding, and continuously improving the site
Attending meetings as required, analysing data, and finding solutions to improve equipment performance
Ensuring safe working practices and maintaining full communications at all times

Requirements:
A formal qualification in a mechanical engineering subject (apprentice served, NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
Strong mechanical experience preferable within a FMCG environment
Experience of both reactive and preventative maintenance
Good technical ability relating to automation hardware and software
