About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Full Time Teaching Assistant to join our team of support staff at Teaching Personnel. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Classroom Teachers: Assist classroom teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide Individualized Support: Offer one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance with their learning, ensuring they stay on track and make progress.
  • Classroom Preparation and Organization: Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources, as well as classroom setup and organization, to create a conducive learning environment.
  • Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Promote a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to learn.
  • Supervise Students: Supervise students during lessons, break times, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Collaborate with teaching staff and other members of the school community to promote student progress and achievement.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Relevant Experience: Possess relevant experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role within a school setting.
  • Passion for Education: Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Display flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and support a variety of teaching and learning activities.
