Position: SEN Teaching Assistant for Year 2

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one support for a Year 2 student with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will work closely with a child diagnosed with autism, who is currently receiving support outside the classroom. Familiarity with existing support strategies is essential to facilitate the child's reintegration into the classroom environment.

This is a full-time position, requiring commitment from Monday to Friday. The working hours are from 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM. The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to ensure comprehensive support for the child, maintaining effective communication with both the SENCO and the child's family.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this role is competitive, set at £13.50.

Experience in supporting children with SEN is preferred, particularly in managing challenging behaviors.
