About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Care Home Manager to lead a small, purpose-built facility providing luxury care services to residents living with Dementia, Alzheimer's, and other General Elderly care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals committed to delivering person-centred care.
- Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the Care Quality Commission, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
- Manage the home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing a nursing home
- Strong working knowledge of Care Quality Commission standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings
- Proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home
- Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care
- Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service
Education and Qualifications
- Preferably registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential)
