Job Title: Regional Care Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Care Trainer to join our team on a regional basis. As a Regional Care Trainer, you will be responsible for leading staff training across the business, supporting care homes across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Deliver Training Sessions: Develop and deliver high-quality training sessions to staff across all our care homes in the UK, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in health and social care.
  • Develop Training Programs: Create, adapt, and implement training programs that meet the specific needs of each care home, focusing on both mandatory training and specialized courses.
  • Collaborate with Management: Work closely with the management team to assess training needs and develop a comprehensive training calendar.
  • Update Training Materials: Regularly update training materials and resources to reflect the latest industry regulations, best practices, and internal policies.
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making improvements as necessary to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Provide Ongoing Support: Offer ongoing support to staff, including one-on-one coaching and mentoring, to enhance their skills and confidence in delivering exceptional care.
  • Induction and Support: Work closely with new employees during their induction period, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to succeed in their roles.
  • Training Compliance: Ensure all training records are accurately maintained and updated in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits of training compliance across all care homes, identifying any gaps and addressing them promptly.
Requirements:
  • Training Qualification: Hold a training/teaching qualification, such as Cert-Ed, Level 3 Award in Education & Training, PTTLS, or CTTLS.
  • Health and Social Care Experience: Have experience in the field of Health and Social Care.
  • Training Experience: Have experience in delivering the desired training courses.
  • Driving License: Possess a full UK driving license and have access to your own vehicle.
  • DBS Check: Have a DBS check and relevant insurances in place.
  • Flexible Approach: Have a flexible approach to work and be able to prioritize workload.
  • Good Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills and be able to interact with others at all levels.
  • Forward Planning: Have good forward planning and a methodical approach to work.
  • Innovation: Be able to innovate and adapt to changing circumstances.
The Offering:
  • Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Full Time.
